In the 2025 sequel Freakier Friday, the cast reunites with familiar faces and introduces new talent. Jamie Lee Curtis returns as Tess Coleman, now a podcasting therapist, while Lindsay Lohan reprises her role as Anna Coleman, who is preparing for her wedding. Julia Butters portrays Anna's daughter, Harper, and Sophia Hammons makes her feature film debut as Lily Reyes, Anna's soon-to-be stepdaughter. Manny Jacinto plays Eric Reyes, Lily's father and Anna's fiancé. Chad Michael Murray returns as Jake, Anna's first love, and Mark Harmon appears as Ryan, Tess's partner. Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Christina Vidal, Haley Hudson, and Vanessa Bayer also join the ensemble cast. Directed by Nisha Ganatra, the film explores a four-way body swap that adds complexity to the family dynamics.
